ANN ARBOR BACKYARD BEEKEEPERS

Ann Arbor Backyard Beekeepers Club (A2B2) is dedicated to beekeeping education, mentoring, networking, and advocacy within the Ann Arbor area. We provide an informational and social venue for beekeepers of all levels to cooperate and share experiences. We are a non-profit organization that is open to all individuals interested in honeybees and beekeeping.  Donations are tax-deductible.

MONTHLY  EDUCATIONAL  MEETINGS

Ann Arbor Backyard Beekeepers Club meets the second Tuesday of every month at Matthaei Botanical Gardens (1800 N. Dixboro Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 - see map below).  Meetings are always free and open to the public.

Open to all beekeepers, bee enthusiasts, and those wanting to learn more about pollinators, programs begin with an informal question & answer period at 6:30pm, followed by an educational presentation on a bee-related topic at 7pm. Discussion topics include honeybee management and care, honey production, and efforts to protect and enhance our local bee populations.  Meetings always conclude by 9pm.
