Michael Nardelli is a residential designer and home builder with over 35 years of experience and a
degree in Architectural Design from Lawrence Technological University. He began beekeeping in
2010 and has since completed multiple bee schools, including programs through SEMBA and Green Toe Gardens.

As President of the Ann Arbor Backyard Beekeepers since 2017, Michael has helped expand member education and programming.He also co-founded the club’s queen rearing initiative,
which provides locally bred queens to members. When not working on homes or hives, Michael
enjoys selling honey with his children at local farmers markets and sharing his knowledge of bees with the community.
